For Parents

Student Grades

We recognize the important role parents play in their child's education.  All students and parents have free access to LiveGrades - the official grade record for Mercer County.  We encourage parents to check their child's progress often and let us know if you have concerns or questions.

Our Schedule

Student attendance is important.  When students miss school, they miss out.  School begins at 7:50 a.m.   Students are expected to be on time and ready to learn when the tardy bell rings at 8:00 a.m.  Students that arrive after 8:00 need to be signed in by a parent at the main office.  School is dismissed at 3:17 p.m. (first bus) and 3:20 p.m. for all others.  Per Mercer County Policy, no student may be signed out after 2:50 p.m.

Student Rewards

We are rewarding positive behavior. When students are acting responsibly, learning can excel! Every 4.5 weeks, students who have earned a conduct grade of A will be given a fun-day during 1st, 2nd, or 3rd period.  Activities may include board games, painting, outdoors sports, etc.  Encourage your child to help make Princeton Middle shine with their best behavior each day!

Cell Phone Policy

Students may bring their phone to school as long as parents have returned the cell phone policy form.  All students are expected to keep their phone off and in their locker during the school day.  Students will be reprimanded if caught with their phones during the school day.

If a staff member confiscates a cell phone it will be turned into the office and a parent must come to the school to get the phone.

Bully Prevention

Princeton Middle School takes bullying very seriously.  We want students to feel safe and secure.  Students are encouraged to report ANY acts of bullying to a teacher or administrator as soon as it happens.  Students can fill out a Student Concern Form if they are having trouble with another student or situation.
